Annette DeLorean
Annette DeLorean was born in Detroit in the summer of '81 and raised on a steady diet of television. Although a graduate of Wayne State University, Annette considers playing in indie pop bands as her true college education.
There she learned to produce new music and art (the precursory form of content) while navigating various situations, personalities and strictures that exasperated and inspired her to make the best art and music possible.
In 2020, Annette developed an animated pilot set in Detroit for Comedy Central called Punk Rock Yoga Bitch.
She is now working on an animated pilot about a poor teenager named Horsehair who uses an unlikely art form, Christian death metal, to cope with her abusive mother.
Annette is the co-director of FLAnimation Film Fest in Jacksonville, FL where she lives part time.
Using a multimedia approach, Annette mixes animation, comedy and music into a pop culture swirly cone emblematic of her outer and inner desires.
